Dr. Svetlana Slijepčević Bjelivuk s a senior research associate at the Standard Language Department of the Institute for Serbian Language SASA. Slijepčević Bjelivuk completed her undergraduate and Master’s studies in Serbian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. In 2016, she earned her PhD at the same faculty, with a dissertation on “Linguistic and Stylistic Features of the Genre of Advertising and Propaganda in Political Discourse”. From 2011 until 2019, she contributed significantly to the development of the Dictionary of the Serbo-Croatian Literary and Vernacular Language of SASA. Slijepčević Bjelivuk designed the concept for “The Glossary of Linguistic Terms” and led a team of 17 collaborators. Her research interests encompass critical discourse analysis, lexicology, lexicography, phraseology, and word formation.

During her research stay at the ACDH-CH Slijepčević Bjelivuk will be focused on designing the concept for the multilingual phraseological dictionary (intended for linguists, teachers, and translators), resulting in precise instructions for the selection and processing of lemmas and further, managing the project of the development of an online dictionary.
