Friday, 16.6.; 9:30 - 16:30
University of Vienna
Department of Slavonic Studies
Seminarraum 1
This workshop aims to bring together PhD and postdoc-scholars from various disciplines and institutions who are based in Vienna and who research different aspects of Yugoslav or Post-Yugoslav history, society and culture. The event is a continuation of the networking workshop “(Post-)Yugoslav History, Society and Culture” that took place in September of 2022 at the University of Vienna. Following much enthusiasm by participants throughout the entire workshop to stay in touch, to develop and to strengthen the initiated network, a decision was made to organise this follow-up event, this time supported by the chair of South Slavic Literature and Culture (miranda.jakisa@univie.ac.at).
Over the course of the workshop, participants will have the chance to talk about their research and network with prospective colleagues, mentors and reviewers, and learn about other ongoing projects through discussions in smaller groups. The goal of our event is to facilitate future co-operations.
